PIMs are more likely to be started in frail individuals following admission. Interventions to support deprescribing of PIMs should be implemented targeting frail individuals during the transition to nursing home.SIG2014-M1 University of Waterloo, Mt. Statin prescribing was substantial within nursing homes, even among frail residents. Further studies are required to evaluate the risks and benefits of statin use, and discontinuation, among nursing home residents to inform clinical practice in this setting.SIG2014-M1 University of Waterloo, Mt.
